Going from A to B can be short or long. You can choose a straight path or a swirling path. You are going from A to B. That’s fixed. How you get there can be easy or difficult. What your spirit is knows the answers. The two voices inside you speak from two different perspectives. If the ego tells you to fight and the spirit tells you not to, are they not two parts of the same coming from different vantage points? Depending on how you see things, this is how you listen to yourselves. Let’s say you are cut-off in traffic. If you are offended, you’ll react with anger. If you are unaffected, you’ll peacefully continue without reaction. There is no difference except how you judge the situation. The situation is, you apply judgment, then react. At the judgment point, you can either be offended or oblivious. This is your choice. At the decision point, the tide turns. At any moment when you are conscious of a situation, this is a decision point. You can choose wisely or unwisely. The ultimate wise choices are always loving and forgiving. If you see all situations as ok, then no further actions, reactions, consequences, etc., are called forth. It is almost as if you choose to play in the game or not.
