The darkest hours
Bring forth flowers
The light will shine
On every mind
The colors are
Just as the dew
Does fall the life
Of plants do our
Lives enhance when
You doubt God exists
See how the storm twists
Feel the rumble of the earth
Shaking the foundation of the
World the storms of life do pass
And calm is restored at last after
God has shown creation the power
Of His improvisation never should we
Doubt again that God has created a divine
Plan for there could be no accident
To create such an environment
Do what makes you happy.
Follow your dreams.
Worry for nothing.
Love others as yourself.
Be kind always.
Know the ego.
Be not led astray.
Don’t live to please others.
Love God above all else.
Live in the present.
Believe in yourself.
Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Ask and it shall be given.
Seek and you shall find.
Be not selfish.
Live to serve.
Imagine the possibilities.
Unto thine own self be true.
Live with purpose.
Love all – be all.
Don’t settle for less.
Attitude is everything.
I write for
My poetry is art
As is any other part
Art keeps us uplifted
It touches our spirits we
Find satisfaction in every
Rhyming interaction but words
Alone can’t portray a song with
Out the music it’s not so prolific
Adding music to a lyric is almost a
But putting a
Poem in shape
Brings art to
So let not your art be limited
When you can be more inventive
Open your mind and artistically combine
Do not waiver
Keep the faith
Don’t listen to those
Who can’t possibly know
What God has told
You to behold
Hear what God said
Knowing that angels tread
Filling your head
As you are led
No help is needed
When God’s words are heeded
You need only believe
And you will receive
So walk in glory along
The street where you belong
Worry not about the throngs
Who believe that you are wrong
What God has said will happen
Won’t by any means be hampered
Let not your spirits be dampened
But keep your courage revamped
Your path is set
Relax and enjoy life
No more filled with strife
The last bell tolls
We are God’s
Us is built a church
Which lights a heavenly
Torch We may lean down
To help others We may stand
With our brothers Some may break
And fall But know above all We are
God’s house And love is our mortar
Hear Me child of God – spirit moves you each time you perform a true kindness. Spirit moves you each time you allow it. Spirit moves you when you see the attacker as pitiful. Every act of forgiveness and non-judgment
is spiritually motivated. You are more aware of spiritual motivations than you might think. If you allow your conditioned behaviors to not control your thoughts, spiritual motivations will flow naturally and your behavior will be reflective of this.
On the subject of life, will you ever understand that it is merely a
pretense? You are not what you have imagined nor are you what you
have experienced. This is all merely nothing but a game of “what if.”
How you perceive life is largely how you will live it. What is temporal
cannot be meaningful. Think of all that was once deemed important but
now is meaningless. Things pass by the window of your view to someday
disappear. No longer is it worthy of your attention. If this is how life
works, and I assure you it is, then why not loosen up and see things from
a larger perspective? Why not look upon all things as temporary
situations and let go of your attachments. For in this there is great
freedom. One day you are obsessed with buying a new house. Once you
have gotten the house, your focus changes entirely. Then there is an
entirely new set of items on which to focus. Your tendency to put great
importance on temporary situations does cause you to miss the greater
aspects of life. Were you to focus on larger, truly meaningful pursuits,
then the daily mundane issues would seem almost laughable. Let’s say
that instead of spending all of your time focused on financial issues you
were to put your efforts into feeding the hungry. Once caught up in the
plight of those less fortunate, your problems would seem so much less in
Rare is the occasion when the world doth satisfy a man. Only when the
man can find satisfaction with himself is he satisfied. Do not depend
upon the world to keep you happy, for it is full of disappointments
brought mainly by your errant expectations. For if there were no
expectations put upon it, the world would merely be, as it is – neither
good nor bad. Upon closer inspection, you find that the world is
nothing, but a series of seemingly random events clustered together into
a meaningless mass of nothing. There are not truly dynamic events
which drastically alter the lives of all. There are some pseudomagnificent
events which the world proclaims as wonderful, yet they do
not change the world at all. Don’t be caught up in the illusion of
importance. There really is nothing of truly lasting importance in this
world. Spread over eons, nothing seems to be vastly important. The best
efforts of man fall in an instant in the face of weather influences. Man
can plan, but nothing is as good as man imagined. Man can fight to
deal with the weather and prepare for it, but his best efforts often fall
short. The unexpected and unknown play roles which overcome man’s
plans. Let not yourself be swallowed up in trying to control. The world
cannot be controlled. Don’t waste your time. Learn to live your life in
the make believe world. If you are not attached to results, the world
merely fades away.
This is the bridge between the worlds. You have one foot in each with
neither fully holding your attention. Neither letting go of the other.
This is a distressing condition for you can’t fully relinquish either, no
matter how hard you try. And fulfilling one, as completely as possible,
leaves a gaping hole in the other. From this condition, you can see that
you are caught between two worlds, pleased by neither. What is a poor
mortal to do? If you choose one, then the other is crying and vice versa.
You can’t live in this world totally for spirit. Both worlds must be fed,
but the shift in the balance of power can make the condition the least
offensive. When you use the vantage point of love, then your chances of
greater fulfillment are had in both worlds. If you see the worlds as
separate, their purposes will always be at odds. If you combine the two,
with one being the lesser motivator, then you are more prone to
experience a more fulfilling life.
